The trail starts on the North and has a long climb to a beautiful view down Assagaaiboskloof. The trail then follows the ridge line to the Kirktrekker descent (be wary of loose rocks and exposed rebar where the steps have come away. It then flattens out at the bottom and goes past some beautiful waterfalls (a must see) back to the parking area.
