Pointe de bellevue's line Map

Take the blue piste of "Bellevue" on the French side. From the bottom of the peak 1 hours walking will be needed or about 40 minutes or less skinning, as the arete isn't too steep. Allow more time in deep snow. From the top of this line you go straight down the Swiss side again- the first part of the run is really steep. The entrance is the main issue, being so steep and potentially dangerous in the wrong snowpack. Not uncommonly the whole line slides in one go, so be very careful with your timing. As soon as the steep part is passed it flattens off and you need to keep some speed. There is however nice tree skiing towards the bottom, great after fresh snowfall. You are aiming for the bottom of the Ecotis or Culet lifts, so keep them in sight.
