This is a popular ski touring route which is generally considered to be difficult. It's extremely remote, it features high exposure (e3) and is typically done between March and May. From a low point of 2.5 km to the maximum altitude of 3.9 km, the route covers 3.2 km, 1 vertical metres of ascent and 1435 vertical metres of descent. It's graded 3.2 and Labande grade 4. You'll need rope, skins and crampons to complete it safely.

Description

This line will take you to the very heart of Monte Rosa, finding ski infinite terrain, navigating complex glaciers reaching with a 2000m run to Staffal. This line is quite complex and Felix Glacier and Lys Glacier are quite tormented with lots of seracs and crevasses.
