Ben Macdui Map

A very well marked path from the Cairngorm Ski Centre until you get up to the plateau and the path is replaced by a field of large stones. Use the cairns to keep on track, and again at the summit when the path once again disappears under stones.

Description

The summit itself is not breath taking, but on a clear day the views of Cairn Toul and Braeriach most certainly are! From the summit, if time allows, you can make a loop return via the Cairngorm or simply head back the way you came.

Difficulty

Moderate

Hiking along trails with some uneven terrain and small hills. Small rocks and roots may be present.
