Freeride Skiing Easy
This approach route ascends below the ridge line of Agassiz Peak to Snowbowl's expert terrain. From where the trail leaves the gondola, it ascends below the ridge as a boot pack or a skin/splitbord. After about 5 minutes of walking, you will pass Upper White Lighting on skiers left and will continue till you fully enter the bowl. You can now drop Larry's Line, or If you are looking to drop Big Bowl, Ship-rocks, or Rustler continue hiking to your preferred summit knob. Keep note that during avalanche control operations, a sign, flashing beacon, and warning flags will be posted on the upper-bowl entry gate. Following any new amount of snow or wind, Ski Patrol may be conducting avalanche control work, including the use of explosives.
