This is a popular freeride skiing route which is generally considered to be moderate. It's extremely remote, it features low exposure (e1) and is typically done between January and April. From a low point of 2.5 km to the maximum altitude of 2.9 km, the route covers 2.2 km, 10 vertical metres of ascent and 416 vertical metres of descent. It's graded 2.2 and Labande grade 3. You'll need skins to complete it safely.

Description

An alternative to the Irene Trail if you are able to climb Fourth of July Peak and desire to get to Deadwood Peak. Not a very difficult traverse, but you have to be mindful of the massive cliff to skiers left...
