This is a popular freeride skiing route which is generally considered to be easy. It's extremely remote, it features low exposure (e1) and is typically done between December and April. From a low point of 2.4 km to the maximum altitude of 2.7 km, the route covers 6.7 km, 206 vertical metres of ascent and 344 vertical metres of descent. You'll need skins to complete it safely.

Description

Forestdale Road is the "glorified cat-track" run that all of the runs in this advanced/expert Elephants Back area filter into. It also leads directly to the Elephants Base area. Beginners should be able to do this with no problem!
