Oatmeal Bowl is a south facing alpine bowl with a moderate pitch. Due to its southern aspect, the snow is often very poor in Outmeal Bowl. However, if other routes in the alpine have dangerous avalanche conditions, Oatmeal Bowl is typically safer.
