Last Chance Map

Last Chance, along with Redline, is one of the most formidable jump lines in the Mt. Bachelor Bike Park. But unlike Redline, Last Chance offers a mixed bag of riding. According to BendTrails.org, "Last Chance is Mt. Bachelor Bike Park’s signature enduro trail and it’s more difficult than its average slope suggests. The technical single track transitions to a machine-built flow trail lower down.”

Description

Essentially, the trail can be split into three separate sections: the technical enduro section up top, the flow trail in the middle, and a blue tech trail down low. The lower section especially can be accessed from a few different trails, including DSM. This section isn’t nearly as difficult as the upper two sections of the trail.

Difficulty

Severe

Widely variable, narrow trail tread with steeper grades and unavoidable obstacles of 15in/38cm tall or less. Obstacles may include unavoidable bridges 24in/61cm wide or less, large rocks, gravel, difficult root sections, and more. Ideal for advanced-level riders.

High Exposure

3 out of 4

Some trail sections have exposed ledges or steep ascents/descents where falling could cause serious injury.

Remoteness

1 out of 4
