This is a popular ski touring route which is generally considered to be easy. It's remote, it features low exposure (e1) and is typically done between November and March. From a low point of 1.3 km to the maximum altitude of 1.5 km, the route covers 2.6 km, 62 vertical metres of ascent and 178 vertical metres of descent. It's graded 1.2 and Labande grade 2. You'll need skins to complete it safely.

Description

A short clearing accessed by a forest service road. Just follow NF 3550 and stay left to turn on to NF 3550-630.

Ski down the obvious clearing and enjoy 400 foot hot laps of sparse trees.
