Freeride Skiing Severe
The Milly Gut is a nice backcountry run at Brighton that returns back to the resort without much traversing at its end. This fairly exposed run takes you west right off the top of Mount Millicent through dispersed trees and a few rock patches. In times of low snow, you may have to navigate a few rock areas, but the line is pretty straight forward heading down. This run is not recommended until the snowpack is very filled in. It is a very exposed slope for avalanches as well, so don't ski this run unless you are sure about the avalanche conditions.
Severe
Steep skiing at 38-45 degrees. This requires very good technique and the risk of falling has serious consequences.
