Trail Running Moderate
This trail starts from a switchback with roadside parking on Guardsman Pass Road, just a bit downhill from the overlook at the top of the pass. Since the pass is so popular with motorists and hikers, parking is often full. Runners and bikers may want to start here instead.
The trail is a jeep road that ascends gradually through hillside forest and meadows. It meets the main Wasatch Crest Trail at a notch overlooking Scott's Bowl of Park City Resort. You won't miss out on much of the Wasatch Crest, but will skip the crowds at Guardsman Pass.
