Long descent through open terrain
The freerider’s mecca has arrived and it’s called "Skicircus."
When Skircircus formed, connecting Saalbach with two other villages, freeriders around the world probably let out a collective “amen!” The ski area is one of the largest in Austria and about as large and impressive as its official name, Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunnski. It boasts 270 kilometers of pistes as well as several freeride parks.
Saalbach, Skicircus’s largest town, is known for its scenery and events while Saalfelden Leogang is known as a place of relaxation. Meanwhile, Fieberbrunn, the smallest and youngest village, is known for its gnarly backcountry terrain. It’s considered a freerider’s paradise. So, with its unofficial motto, “Easy up, wild down!”, need we say more?
