Description

Iconic mountain summits and some of Scotland's best ski descents. These Challenging routes take on the 10 highest mountains in the UK. From steep and narrow couloirs to wide and open faces and from forested trails to exposed ridge scrambles. These adventures sample some of Scotland's epic appeal and all sorts of antics in between.

Not for the faint hearted, these routes cover around 75km and 7,000m ascent over 3 days and 4 outings. Including a variation of the legendary Cairngorm 4000ers route to tackle 5 of the mountains, the guidebook also visits Ben Nevis, it's north facing steeps, 3 of its giant neighbours and a separate outing to tackle Ben Lawers.
