Description

Moab, Utah is one of the oldest mountain bike destinations, and it's still one of the best. Whether you prefer Whistler to Moab, or you think the Swiss Alps reigns as king, is irrelevant—everyone can agree that riding the slickrock and sand in the ultimate desert destination is a bucket list experience that all mountain bikers need to experience at least once in a lifetime.

However, Moab isn't just for expert-level riders. Even beginners can find trails to enjoy! Here are a few of the best beginner-friendly rides.

Adventures

Lazy EZ

The Lazy EZ beginner loop isn’t actually lazy and it’s not all that easy, but compared to other trails in Moab this is a great beginner option that’s also entertaining and scenic.

Monitor-Merrimac

A scenic, non-technical introduction to riding Moab's slickrock.

Klonzo

While easier than most trails in the region, Klonzo is still full-on Moab.
