There’s really no better way to explore Berlin than by bike, as there are tonnes of well maintained, interconnected bikeways, taking you directly out of the city’s concrete heart and quickly into the leafier outer edges, such as Müggelsee to the east and Wannsee in the west. Plus, of course, Berlin is totally flat, so a pedal in the sun is pretty much always a walk in the park!
