Description

Spend spring and summer in Berlin pedaling out to all of the glorious greenery, lakes, and wild patches of nature that surround the city. There’s really no better way to explore Berlin than by bike, as there are tonnes of well maintained, interconnected bikeways, taking you directly out of the city’s concrete heart and quickly into the leafier outer edges, such as Müggelsee to the east and Wannsee in the west. Plus, of course, Berlin is totally flat, so a pedal in the sun is pretty much always a walk in the park!

Here are 5 of our favourite circular bike routes around Berlin. If you want to combine a dose of nature with a historical tour, then try either the Spreeway or the Berlin Wall Trail rides. For the chance of stopping for a dip in a lake along the way, go for the Müggelsee Loop.
