The gorge circuit near Saas-Fee is ideal for families as well as for those interested in culture and nature. Along the chapel path you go down to the brook and further to the hamlet of Bodmen.
The Bodmen forest trail leads from Saas-Fee through the larch forest to Saas-Almagell and is easy to follow for young and old.
Hiking on old paths is the motto of this trail. The path leads through the old village hamlets of Saas-Grund near the road to Saas-Balen.
Hike from Bidermatten through the larch forest to the hamlet of Sengg and on to Saas-Fee.
On this circular route, which can also be walked with a pram, you can see some of the sights and villages of the Saas Valley. On the way there are several bus stops, which also shorten the tour.
The tour around Lake Mattmark is a popular circular hike with high alpine flair. The trail is also a good alternative to asphalted roads for joggers and bikers.
