Top MTB Rides in Verbier, Switzerland

You’ll totally want to add Verbier to your must-ride list once you read about these trails.

Description

Switzerland has some seriously good mountain biking going for itself. With places like Crans-Montana, Zermatt, and Saint-Luc, riding in Switzerland is like a dream.

Another gem to add to that list is Verbier. There’s ample choice for biking, whether you’re looking for downhill, single track, enduro, or cross-country.

Whatever your preference, you should not miss the Verbier Bike Park. It has a 700 m vertical drop, eight tracks, and four different trail gradients.

Bonus tip: Verbier also serves as a great base for those wanting to explore the area in general; Chamonix and the Portes du Soleil are only 1 to 1.5 hours away by car.

This blue run is fun, flowing and the easiest marked trail in the resort. The track is packed full of banked corners, loose terrain and loads of jumps that are nice and forgiving for the less experienced rider.

Wouaiy (like the sound you make when you ride this trail) is the most complete 'Bike Park' trail that has a extremely natural feeling to it. Evolved from a simple taped out line that was WILD it is now Bike Crack. This trail must see more multiple repeats than any trail outside of Whistler's A Line! A must for the rider who wants a natural feeling track.

Drop Dead Gorgeous. Despite being inbounds of the ski resort this trail really feels out there. With the vertignous walls of Bec des Rosses, Mt Gele and the 3 finger couloirs above you with Mt Fort in the distance you'll feel very out of bounds. Taking in the beautifully positioned Cabane Mt Fort this trail delivers Big Mountain goodness.
