Description
With Geneva at one end and Chamonix and Megève at the other, most keen ski tourers or mountaineers will have travelled down the Arve Valley at some stage of their lives. What relatively few people have done is stop in the valley itself and explore the fabulous ski touring around it.
This guidebooks seeks to make amends for that by describing 3 day tours, all of which are accessed directly from or close to the Arve Valley. They are all low angled affairs, suitable for intermediate tourers and all offer fun skiing and epic views to some of the legendary peaks nearby, including Mont Blanc.
