Description

For those searching for a classic Andean mountain journey, look no further. This trip will take you onto 3 beautiful summits and through some of the barren, almost desolate mountain scenery for which Bolivia is famous.

Unusually for a mountaineering expedition, this trip has a bustling city (La Paz, the capital of Bolivia) as its base camp, meaning that between peaks you can retreat to the city for a day or 2, grab a shower, a good meal and a night in a hotel bed, and then head back into the hills.

All 3 peaks are challenging and have exposed sections so you'll need a good all round mountaineering skill set to complete this trip. If your skill and fitness levels are high enough and you get a bit of luck with conditions, you can't fail to enjoy this epic Andean adventure.
