Giant granite boulders scattered everywhere!

Girraween National Park is located close to the Queensland/New South Wales border.
Covering an area of the Granite Belt in the Southern Downs region, its landscape is dramatically speckled with surreal balancing boulders, granite outcroppings and an impressive diversity of springtime wildflowers dominating the scenery.

Girraween National Park has numerous walks available and for all types of hiking experience. From easy 30-minute walks that can be done with the family, medium and hard graded walking tracks.
