Description

Generally there is a choice to be made in winter between a ski trip and a city trip but if you head to Annecy, you can have both! All you need is ski touring kit, a hire car and plenty of enthusiasm. You'll also need to consume plenty of calories, but that will be easy given the excellent range of restaurants that can be found in the region!

In stark contrast to most of the offerings around Chamonix, these tours are generally not too tough and do not feature any truly steep or extreme skiing. All offer huge views and are remarkably quiet despite their proximity to large towns.

For the perfect week of ski touring and city culture, look no further.
