Description

The freeride possibilities in Kühtai are almost endless but for those seeking a little adventure and solitude, the area is also surrounded by some fantastic ski touring. These 4 tours all begin in the lift system but quickly take you into wild, untamed mountains.

In the area around Kühtai there are no glaciers to worry about but getting off a lift and being into such serious terrain is disconcerting, so try to snap quickly into "mountain mode" once touring.

For those with a few days in Kühtai, ticking all of these tours off in the space of 3 or 4 days is perfectly possible, and would give you a great introduction to this celebrated ski valley.
