Description

In the Swiss ski resort Crans-Montana, winter often means sun as well as snow. Situated at an altitude of 1500m on a south-facing plateau above the Rhone Valley in the Swiss canton of Valais, visitors come for both the sunny skies and spell-binding views of the surrounding snow-capped peaks. The resort itself is modern, chic, and a favourite spot for celebrities to ski, shop, and be seen.

Centred around Mont Bonvin’s towering massif, which rises to almost 3,000m, Crans-Montana has plenty of skiing options both on and off-piste. Here are 11 freeride lines of varying terrain, length, and intensity to suit every adventurous skier.
