Description
Starting in a legendary alpine town, finishing in a lesser-known but equally scenic Swiss village and passing through the most famous peaks in the Alps en route, this is a classic high mountain ski tour.
The scenery on this tour is scarcely believable, and the peaks you pass by on all 5 days will be familiar to all keen ski mountaineers. Much of the tour takes place at high altitude and this is an adventure that should only be attempted with a perfect weather forecast. The added bonus of doing the tour with blue sky above you is that you will be able to get great photos of those legendary peaks you are skiing beneath!
Adventures
Starting with an amazing backdrop of the Matterhorn in the morning light this unforgettable traverse takes you over a high pass into remote mountain wilderness to the N.
This is well known as one of the best high summits in the Alps to do as a ski mountaineering traverse, with significant exposure on the E ridge.
A relatively easy day after the previous two, but every bit as spectacular.
Well acclimatised now you can relish this ascent of one of the highest peaks in the Alps you can get to on skins.
