Description

After the first long days, stage 4 is a chance to recover.

Both the distance and gain are less than the average stage.

Fewer hours out gives you extra time to relax and enjoy the view of glaciers and 4000-meter peaks from the deck of the Cabane de Moiry once you arrive. When you leave the Becs de Bosson, a rapid descent leads to the Lac de Lona.

After a short climb, the coral, sage, and tan colors are left behind for the alpine grey and glaciers surrounding the Moiry Valley.

After running the length of the unbelievably blue Lac de Moiry, the stage finishes with a climb along the moraine to reach the hut at 2825 meters.
