Description

Nestled in amongst the peaks of the Stubai, Tuxer Alps, Wipptal and Karwendel, Innsbruck offers the unique combination of a bustling European city and truly World-class ski touring. Nowhere else can you be in the middle of a busy city with trams rumbling past and 20 minutes later be in the treasure trove of ski mountaineering like the Tirolian mountains.

All of these tours can be done by driving less than 40 minutes from Innsbruck city centre and they pass through some of the best known mountain ranges in the Alps. If you tick these off you'll have climbed and skied off the 2 peaks that dominate the view to the south of Innsbruck (Serles and Nockspitze), have explored the famous Kalkogel range, gone deep into the legendary Karwendel National Park and done some epic skiing en route!

Adventures

Roßkogel Nordrinne

A classic steep couloir which has the added draw of being visible from Innsbruck city centre!

Serles

An exciting and varied route up the peak which dominates the Innsbruck skyline.

Kalkogel Loop

An awe inspiring journey around the Kalkogel range, home to some of Tirol's most dramatic peaks.

Stempeljoch

A truly wild tour through a series of stunning valleys.
