Description

With its rich biodiversity, coastal and mountainous terrain, and around 130 official hiking trails, Hong Kong is a hiker’s paradise. Couple all that with an impeccable public transport system, and you’re easily up in the hills, enjoying a day out of the city.

Sometimes, though, you just want to enjoy a relaxed, safe nature walk without worrying if the kids will make it up the next peak. Luckily, Hong Kong also has plenty of easily-accessible family-friendly walks. From beachside promenades to leafy lookouts and trails, there’s something for everyone.

This guidebook contains one walk on Lamma Island, one in Sai Kung, and six on Hong Kong Island itself. From the Peak’s world-famous city view to Repulse Bay’s seaside setting, all these walks are suitable for kids and for all fitness levels.

Get the whole family ready and get walking!
