Description

Waterton Lakes National Park has no shortage of hiking trails, but if you only have a few days to spare or are here with family, the challenge can be deciding on which trails to do. This guidebook should go some way to solving your dilemma!

With such a wide selection of hiking trails and some spectacular scenery, it’s easy to see why so many people flock to Waterton every summer.

Here we have three awesome trails that are suitable for people of all abilities. These trails all offer some fantastic views and are a great way to see Waterton Lakes National Park.

The Bears Hump and Bertha Lake trails are both moderate, family-friendly trails that should be on everyone's to-do list when visiting Waterton. If you are looking to stretch your legs and see some amazing views of the surrounding mountains and lakes, then these are the perfect trails for you.

For those looking for a longer adventure or wanting more of a challenge, then Lineham Ridge is a longer and more challenging trail, but is one of the hidden gems in the National Park. This trail is infrequently travelled compared to many other trails in the area, but the views are outstanding and it’s well worth the extra effort.
