Sample a bit of "La Bella Vita" and enjoy some wonderful scenery en route!
There's plenty to like about Italy - beautiful mountains, peaceful little villages and some of the best food on the planet. By doing the routes in this guidebook you'll be able to sample all of those things, and get a bit of exercise as well, which will come in handy when you're looking for an excuse to eat pizza, pasta and gelato!
There's plenty of variety amongst these routes, but all take place in ski resort boundaries. As such you can get on with enjoying the views and planning your food choices without worrying about the hazards which come along with skiing in uncontrolled terrain.
One final thing - resort touring takes place, by definition, in a ski resort. Before doing any of these tours, make sure that you’re allowed to do so at that time. With grooming machines driving around, and resorts entitled to stop tourers using their runs if the rules are ignored, please stick to the restrictions of each resort. We want to be able to keep ski touring next season and all the ones after that - as on every ski day, the goal should always be to “ski tomorrow”!
