Description

Catching a ride to the top of a gnarly singletrack descent is tough to beat! If you want to save your legs and instead focus on the downhill enduro-style shredding, look no further than this list of recommended shuttle runs. Featured here are 10 of the very best mountain bike shuttles spread across the western United States.

While you’ve undoubtedly heard of epics like The Whole Enchilada and the Downieville Downhill, perhaps others like the Osberg Ridgeline Epic or O'Leary Mountain are new to you. While selecting the trails for this list, we focused on shuttle runs that offer a commercial shuttle option to assist you in your pursuit of singletrack bliss. There may be one or two exceptions, but in general, you should be able to book a spot on a shuttle and get whisked to the top of the nearest mountain for just a few dollars. Whichever trail(s) you choose, you’re guaranteed a fantastic rip on some of the best singletrack in the world!

Adventures

Monarch Crest

This epic trail provides high alpine ridge top riding at treeline with views for hundreds of miles in all directions, finishing with a ripping descent down the mountain.

Downieville Downhill

Alpine Trail

Known as the "crown jewel" of Oakridge, the Alpine Trail easily ranks among the best shuttle routes in the world.

Osberg Ridgeline Epic

An epic length point-to-point route that breaks above treeline, providing breathtaking views.

Cannell Trail

One of the most epic shuttles in California, if not the entire USA!
