Description

Snowmass Bike Park flies a bit under the radar on Colorado’s downhill scene. But the riders who’ve driven a couple extra hours to get to Snowmass know that this park is a true diamond in the rough!

A two-lift combination is required to get to the very top of the mountain, but once there, you’re greeted panoramic views of the Maroon Bells and the Roaring Fork Valley—scenic vistas that surpass almost every other bike park in the state. In fact, thanks to the two-lift combination, Snowmass is roughly twice as tall as most bike parks in Colorado, offering up over 3,000 vertical feet of downhill ripping. You can shred some seriously long runs here!

Note that you don’t need to ride both lifts for every single run. You can easily rip shorter laps on either the lower or the upper half of the mountain without shredding all the way top-to-bottom. The moral of the story is that you have options: short runs or long runs, easy trails or hard trails, flow lines or tech lines… it’s all here.

Not only that, but Snowmass keeps getting better every single year. 2018’s big addition, the French Press flow trail, was an instant hit. And for fall 2019, a couple of uber-gnarly double black lines will be opening to add some serious challenge to the park.

So stop reading, and start planning your trip to Snowmass!
