Description

Stockholm has a very special topography—one that you would expect a fairytale kingdom to have rather than a modern major city. It's spread across 14 islands on the banks of the archipelago, at the point where Lake Mälaren meets the Baltic Sea. Thick forests meet rolling hills and rocky coastlines, and all of this beautiful landscape has been wonderfully routed for hikers to get into nature easily.
