Description

Utterly unique landscapes and the most outrageous natural ski lines make the Dolomites a true skier's paradise. The huge limestone towers for which the area is famous are spectacular, and the gaps between them can create the most fabulous couloirs.

This list of tours (and one freeride which feels like a ski tour) will give you some idea of what skiing in the Dolomites is all about, and will take you around some of the better known peaks of the area. There are some cruisy, mellow options in this list and some of the epic, steep couloirs for which the Dolomites are so famous. Suffice to say that if you ski all of these lines you'll have made a good start to your Dolomitic skiing career and will have spotted countless more routes to return for....And when you do return, check these guidebooks out!
