Description

The trail system surrounding Breckenridge, Colorado can feel completely overwhelming to new visitors. Singletrack trails run in every direction and in some places, it feels like you’re passing through a trail intersection every half a mile (or less). So with all of these options, how do you decide where to run?

To cut through the chaotic maze of singletrack overwhelm, we’ve narrowed this guidebook down to three of the must-do trail runs in the Breckenridge area. Included here is a relatively mellow loop on beautiful singletrack in the Soda Creek area, a run on the iconic Peaks Trail, and finally, a challenging mountain run from downtown Breckenridge to the summit of Bald Mountain.

Once you’ve checked off these three trails you can dive deeper into the system with lengthy runs on the Colorado Trail, in the Ten Mile Range, and up a nearby 14er. But for now, check off these three must-dos, and then decide where to go after that!
