Description

A 5-day snowshoeing adventure lead by Mammut Alpine School. "This tour is already a classic in summer. And the fact that such a long tour is possible in winter too makes it an attractive option. Our trek will take us over a total of six glaciers, travelling from one hut to the next. Technique beginner–intermediate Alpine technique: no prior knowledge needed; Terrain: mostly moderately steep, short steeper sections and traverses
Condition intermediate Duration from 5 to 7 hours, up to approx. 1,200 vertical meters, approx. 300 vertical meters per hour. Group 3-8 participants per mountain guide
Meeting place 11.10 a.m. Jungfraujoch, Coffeebar, train arrival 11.05 Uhr Jungfraujoch
