Description
It is impossible to determine which are the most scenic hikes in the resplendent Rocky Mountains near Denver. There are simply too many miles of eye-popping trails. We can, however, identify some that offer incredible views for relatively little effort. If you don’t want the challenge of forging deep into the mountains, or if you are simply low on time, try one of these short, scenic hikes near the city. Each can be done as a day trip from Denver, and each one explores a stunning sample of the surrounding landscape.
