Description

Discover one of the most beautiful and steepest Haute Routes in Switzerland. With sunny ascents on the south face and spectacular descents on the north, hopefully in fantastic powder snow. The historic ski tour between Andermatt and Engelberg passes through a particularly remote area. A sense of adventure accompanies this impressive experience as we make our way from hut to hut and summit to summit.
Technique intermediate Piste: very confident on skis; Powder snow: solid prior experience; Terrain: mostly steep terrain, narrow couloirs; Alpine technique (for ski touring): solid touring experience or completed training course.
Condition intermediate Duration from 5 to 7 hours, up to approx. 1,200 vertical meters, approx. 300 vertical meters per hour. High level of fitness for all-day skiing.
Group 4-6 participants per mountain guide
Meeting place 9.30 Uhr Mammut Store Piazza Gottardo, Furkagasse 2, 6490 Andermatt (train arrival 9.21 Uhr Andermatt)
