Description

Snake Pitt, this is a choose our own adventure run, steep, with various ravines, cliffs, chutes, pillows and drops, be sure skills can navigate various terrain.

Enter this run through a gate on Big Horn from there it opens into an area which allows for travel any direction.

This is a challenging run, in big snow years there is a fun pillow line on thin snow years it can be a rocky adventure.

Note: December 24, 1982 ski patroller David Stutzman was skiing with his girlfriend when a pocket broke loose and carried him on the lower road burying and killing him.

There is a plaque on a tree in snake pit in memory of him.
