Current Creek Bench is a very wide slope that falls off the ridge to the east of Mt Russel's summit.
The northern side of the the ridge often has a cornice on it, so it is usually most easily skied down the fall line from the true summit of Mt Russel.
The wind can play all sorts of games in this area so be aware of its direction and intensity for both avalanche conditions and snow quality.
