Description

Ptarmigan is one of the more open and smooth runs off the Bridger lift.

It isn't quite as steep in the upper section as Bronco, but pitches a little steeper as one skis South of Devil's Dive and into the lower part of Avalanche Gulch.

It is a great early season run because of the lack of rocks and lower angle.

Ptarmigan is a good bet early on a powder morning because u get low angle turns, then get the lower part of the High Traverse before Ski Patrol can open the gate.

It develops smaller moguls than Bronco and runs in the North Bowl due to its lower angle.

In the Spring, the corn skiing on Ptarmigan is phenomenal.
