Description

Emigrant is a wide open run that has moguls in the early season, then gets groomed as the snow gets deeper.

It is one of the easiest black diamonds at Bridger.

It is a great bail out from the monotony of Bitterroot.

There are nice wide spaced lodgepoles on the South side, but beware of the tight ones on the skier's left side.

The tree areas that frame it should be skied with extreme caution in the early season due to lack of snow and many stumps, logs, rocks, and bushes that are in there.

It softens up nicely in the spring, but beware if it doesn't thaw in the morning.

It is a great low angle powder run in the morning, especially if it has been groomed the night before.
