Description

Hikers can find refreshment on hot days during a foray through meadows and forests past the Eifersbach waterfall in Winkl-Schattseite near St.

Johann in Tyrol.

Start at the parking lot of the Eichenhof lifts and turn left in the direction of St.

Johann until you reach Tannweg.

Turn left at the end of the Tannweg.

From the farm Tann you walk along a flat meadow path to the farm Bichln and then through the forest down to the chapel Theresienbad.

From there a forest path leads slightly uphill along the Eiferbach.

The last meters to the waterfall are made passable with bridges and footbridges.

Then finally the floods of the Eifersbach waterfall plunge over 25 m next to you into the valley.

Here is an ideal place to let nature have an effect on you and to refresh yourself with crystal clear, cool spring water. From the waterfall is a short steep ascent (paved stairs) to the forest road, which takes you towards the valley to Grander Schupf (1000 m).

From there it's a 25 minute walk to the parking lot, our starting point. equipment
