Description

Three distinct chutes make up the South Chutes zone.

Beginning with wind lips along the tree line, it's possible to traverse right after the initial drop if it seems like there are better lines further over.

Narrower at the top, each of the chutes opens up while maintaining a steep pitch until meeting with the cat track at the bottom.

The tree islands here are tight in spots but there are also clear paths through them which is also where the last bits of powder will be hiding.

Head here first on a powder day and don't neglect the last chute as it may have the least traffic.
