Description
Similar to Aplande, Kestrel can be perceived as a great way for intermediates to progress into more challenging terrain.
With less grooming and a steeper pitch to the likes of Upper Apex and Apex Ridge, this drop down to Lower Boa is an enjoyable leg burner for intermediates to gain the confidence necessary for more advanced terrain.
Kestrel also allows for intermediates to experience less manicured runs, and on occasion, especially after snow, small moguls, which is an essential skill to harness on more advanced terrain.
Once again this run holds the snow well, but can also be fairly icy underfoot in the late season, so take care if you do fancy a venture to the side of the runs through the trees, it can catch you off guard.
