Description

From the hotel we take the old salt road to the valley station of the Steffisalp cable car.

Includes the Steffisalp Railway ( Included in the Warth Card ).

From the Steffisalp Railway we start on a good high-level path and descend to Wannenkopf and on to Mutaschüna ("Heustadel auf der Muta").

On the Güterweg we continue to the old Walser settlement of Bürstegg.

( Refreshment possibility on the alpine pasture, The chapel of Bürstegg is should look at amn absolutely ) After Bürstegg, the trail climbs slightly up to Karbühel and down to Auenfeldsattel.

Past the lower Auenfeldalpe you turn right immediately after the alpine pasture to the upper Auenfelder Alpe where the path leads you past the Auenfeldhütte with the possibility to stop for a snack, then slightly uphill again via the Salobersattel to the valley station Salober and further past the Kuchelalpe below the Simmelkapelle and past the Krumbacher Ried with the crooked brook back to the starting point. equipment
