Description

Pioneer Glade, built to address Taos Ski Valley’s lack of a true beginner area, is now the main learner's area and is located immediately across from the bottom of Lift 1.

Pioneer is a long, gentle glade serviced by a triple chair.

Zipper 3 is at the bottom.

From the top of the lift there are a few choices of varying difficulty which later come together in a wide open area.

There are some easy lines through some of the trees which are most often skied by kids.

The whole hill was re-graded in the summer of 2015 to make it more even and consistent.
