Description

Start walking on a wide paved track before turning into a flat gravel walking path.

There are numerous picnic tables and benches along the banks of the lake where you can stop for a break or take in the full beauty of this stunning green lake.

Once the trail leaves the lakeshore, you'll walk on a path with many rounded rocks before the dirt path begins ascending up the valley.

The climbs are steep, though shorter than the previous hikes on this trip.

After passing through brush and forest, the path will flatten out and take you straight into the upper valley, your final destination for this hike.

Enjoy the alpine scenery before returning on the path that you came on. Equipment Bear spray, sturdy boots, layers, water, snacks, rain gear, camera, sunscreen, sunglasses, sun hat, warm hat.
