Description

From the hotel you pass the valley station of the Jägeralp cable car and cross the bridge of the cold brook up to the Holzbodenalpe.

The wooden floor alp is one of the oldest buildings in the area and is untypical for the Walser, built of stone.

The living part is still quite original and worth seeing.

The route continues slightly downhill past a beautiful crossroads through the Birche to the Wolfegg district and on over the Brückle des Hemmenbach to the valley station of the Steffisalpe.

From the Steffisalpe it's a gentle uphill walk along the goods road to the Huberställen and further under the bull train to the centre of the village.

The new alpine dairy and sausage production will follow in the direction of Lech.

Both very worth seeing.

In the village the church of St.

Sebastian and the Walserhus next to the church are worth seeing.

Afterwards the way leads over the street past below the Lechtalerhof and past the hotel Wartherhof back over the old salt street to the Jägeralpe equipment
