Description

Amongst the cliff band that separates the line of the gondola of Passo Salati from the Endre plain below, there are several lines to ski.

All are steeper couloirs for experienced skiers and snowboarders and demand a good knowledge of the terrain to find the right entry points.

They should be skied in good snow conditions only.

There is a high danger of avalanches here after strong easterly winds. There are three obvious lines for skiing.

The central one has the easiest entrance.

From the top station at Passo dei Salati, follow the Salati piste until the first big turn on the right side (200m) where there is a large plateau off-piste.

Traverse right until the entrance of the couloir.

The couloir is 45° to 50° and narrow at the beginning, finally opening out onto a wide slope below the Stolemberg.

From here ski down along the Diretta Indren itinerary to the middle station, Gabiet.
